“I called my dad and said, ‘You got to check this out,’ ” Serewicz, a St. Charles resident, said. “Sure enough, that was it. ”. The truck that Serewicz found once belonged to his father, Tom Serewicz, who entered it into multiple car shows, including the annual Chicago World of Wheels. The father-son duo worked together throughout 2014 and up until a few hours before the start of the 2015 Chicago World of Wheels in March to reintroduce the truck – once named “Obsession” – as “Obsession 2. ”. Just like its first iteration,... Daniel Serewicz and his father got to work right away on the truck once they used its VIN number to confirm that was indeed Obsession from their past. The weathered truck was put up for sale on Craigslist, where Daniel Serewicz randomly found it. “I was ecstatic, I think my dad was even more happy,” Daniel Serewicz said. Daniel Serewicz is 30, the same age as the truck, and he found the vehicle on Craigslist when he was 28, which was the same age his father was when he first bought the truck. He then went on to complete a... For the past 16 years he was a cardiovascular and thoracic and trauma surgeon at both Valley Baptist Medical Center and Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen. He also served as trauma director at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He also served on the board of directors for IDEA public schools, where he was always trying to improve learning for today’s students. Tom Torkelson, president and CEO of IDEA public schools, told The Monitor’s Lorenzo Zazueta-Castro that Lopez was an intense and hardworking person who demanded a lot from himself and those around him. “It didn’t matter if we were No. 1 in the Valley or No. 1 among all charter schools, he was always asking me, ‘How are you going to do better.
